Day 01
Arrive Delhi | Drive to Shimla (320 Kms / approx. 8 hour drive)
Welcome to New Delhi, the grand capital of India. On arrival at the Delhi airport or Delhi railway station, begin your tour of 'Himachal Splendour'. Proceed on a picturesque drive to the charming hill station of Shimla. On arrival, check into your hotel.
Day 02
In Shimla | Excursion to Kufri and Chail (20 kms / approx. 1 hour drive one-way)
Today, proceed on a wonderful excursion to Kufri and Chail. In Kufri, enjoy a walk through the thick cedar woods to Mahasu Peak for an amazing view of the mighty Himalayas. Visit the world's highest cricket and polo ground in Chail.
Day 03
On to Manali (272 kms/ approx. 7 hour drive)
Today, enjoy your drive past the banks of the river, Beas to Manali, where upon arrival, check into your hotel. The evening is at leisure.
Day 04
In Manali
During your city tour today, visit the Hadimba Temple and the Tibetan Monastery which houses several images of Lord Buddha and Tankha paintings. The evening is free to relax or stroll and shop at the Mall road.
Day 05
In Manali | Excursion to Rohtang Pass / Snow Point (51 kms / approx. 2 hour drive one-way
This morning, proceed on a day excursion to the Rohtang Pass. If roads to Rohtang Pass are closed, then visit Snow point where ponies/horses can be hired (on direct payment basis). The rest of the day is free to explore this picturesque town.
Day 06
On to Kullu | Excursion to Manikaran (38 kms / approx. 1 ½ hour drive)
This morning, proceed to Kullu. On arrival, check into your hotel. Proceed on a day excursion to Manikaran, famous for its sulphur springs. The rest of the day is free to explore this picturesque town.
Day 07
On to Panchkula / Chandigarh (320 kms / approx. 8 hour drive)
Today, you will proceed to Panchkula / Chandigarh. On arrival, check into your hotel. The evening is free to explore this well planned city.
Day 08
On to Delhi (255 kms / approx 6 hour drive) | Return home with happy memories
Today, bid farewell to your 'Himachal Splendour' tour, as you are transferred to Delhi airport or Delhi railway station for your onward journey.
