EGYPT - A JOURNEY TO THE LAND OF PHARAOHS
DAY 01:
Welcome aboard! Today you begin your memorable journey to - ‘the land of the Pharaohs’.
Today, embark on your exciting tour of Egypt. On arrival at the Cairo airport you will be met by our local representative in the arrival area located outside the customs hall. Proceed to your hotel and check in. Tonight, enjoy an Indian dinner.
Overnight at Movenpick Pyramids or similar in Cairo.
DAY 02:
Fly to Aswan – one of the most beautiful cities of Egypt. Enjoy a guided city tour of Aswan. Board your 3 Night Nile cruise. Sail to Kom Ombo.
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to the airport for your flight to Aswan. On arrival at Aswan, proceed on a guided city tour visiting the High Dam – one of the outstanding architectural achievements of the twentieth century. Visit the temple of Philae dedicated to Goddess Isis and later proceed to the Cruise Centre to board the luxury cruise liner. Enjoy a delicious ‘welcome aboard’ buffet lunch on board. Later set sail to Kom Ombo and enjoy your leisure time on board. Tonight enjoy a delicious dinner on the Cruise.

DAY 03:
City sights of Kom Ombo including the temple of two Gods. On to Edfu. Visit temple of Edfu. Sail to Luxor.
After an American breakfast on board proceed to the famous ‘temple of two Gods’. Dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris, the crocodile gods, this temple was constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty and is noted for its engravings. After enjoying the city sights of Kom Ombo, reboard the cruise and sail to Edfu, a town situated on the west bank of the river Nile. Enjoy lunch on board. On arrival, proceed to the famous Edfu temple dedicated to God Horus, represented by the Falcon. This is one of the most beautiful Egyptian temples distinguished by its huge splendid structure that blends Pharoic and Greek architecture. Later, sail to the magnificent town of Luxor, considered the greatest outdoor museum of the world. Enjoy dinner on board the cruise.

DAY 04:
Enjoy the sights of Luxor.
After an American breakfast on board, proceed on a tour of Luxor – the city of palaces. Visit the famous tombs in the Valley of Kings. Visit the temple of Hatshepsut. Later, proceed to the Colossi of Memnon, which are two massive stone statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the only queen who ruled Egypt. Later, return to the cruise. Enjoy lunch on board. Rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner on board the cruise.

DAY 05:
Disembark from the cruise. On to Cairo. Enjoy the city sights of Cairo.
After an American breakfast on board, bid good-bye to all the friends you made on the cruise. and proceed to the airport for your flight to Cairo. On arrival, proceed on a panoramic city tour of Cairo passing the Cairo tower, rising to a height of 187 meters, the famous blue mosque with blue mosaic walls, and the Mari Mina church dating back to the early 5th century.
See the famous Egyptian Museum which houses more than 2,50,000 antiques displaying the whole history of ancient Egypt, extending over five thousand years, the most splendid being the collection of Tut Ankh-Amon. Later, visit the Khan Al-Khalili Bazaar and the Al Sagha market place were you will come across some interesting jewellery shops or go shopping to pick up souvenirs on your own. Tonight, enjoy a delicious Indian dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 06:
Pyramids of Giza. Enjoy the Sound and Light Show.
After an American breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a guided tour of this ancient capital city. On the west bank of the Nile, facing Cairo and on top of the Giza plateau, rise the three Pyramids erected by Cheops, Chepren and Mycerinus, and guarded by the mysterious sphinx, a mythical statue with a body of a lion and a human head. The three Pyramids and the Sphinx are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Later, enjoy the Sound and Light show at the pyramids of Giza. Here, see and feel the power of ancient Egypt.Tonight, enjoy a sumptuous Indian dinner.

DAY 07:
Fly back home with wonderful memories of your holiday.
After an American Breakfast at the hotel, proceed to airport for your flight back home. Return home with wonderful memories of your holiday with WETELL.
